The first modern
sports bar in America.

Founded by former LA Rams lineman Dennis Harrah, Legends pioneered live satellite sports broadcasts and now houses one of the largest private sports memorabilia collections in the country โ€” Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali, and an actual Indy car included.

Our Story

Founded by an NFL lineman in 1979

Dennis Harrah โ€” the LA Rams' 11th overall pick in the 1975 NFL Draft โ€” opened Legends in 1979 with a simple idea: put satellite technology to work broadcasting live sports from anywhere in the world. It's still recognized as the first modern sports bar in America.

Legends backs that up with one of the largest private sports memorabilia collections in the U.S. โ€” over 100 autographed baseballs from legends like Babe Ruth and Ted Williams, signed jerseys, Muhammad Ali's boxing equipment, and a real 2001 Indy car driven by Bobby Rahal hanging from the ceiling.

"There are plenty of screens with a giant 30-plus foot screen being the highlight... Lots of sports memorabilia makes it almost museum-like."
